Halloween 2013

This evening we went to our friend's, The Richey's, neighborhood to Trick-or-Treat. We originally weren't planning to do anything, but then I decided we shouldn't be fuddy-duds. =) So I went yesterday morning to find Caroline a Razorback cheer leading outfit, and thankfully, I found one! Caroline was a toot at first, but after she warmed out, she had a lot of fun with her little friends. I'm so glad we decided to take her. It was worth watching her get excited and not to mention, she loved all the candy. Ha!

Go Hogs!
Sweet girls
When we got home, she opened her Halloween cards from Aunt Carol and Nina =)

On our way!

Trick or Treating was a success for these cuties

iPhone Pictures

It feels like I haven't posted on here in awhile, so I thought I would pull some random pictures off my phone. =)
Caroline was starving the other night, so she was making sure Mommy wasn't going to burn her food.

My hair dresser used a curling wand on my hair. I will be getting one very soon!!
Having a little lunch picnic in the playroom
Chicken Enchiladas for a meal swap with friends. It has been so nice not having to think about dinner this week!! I can't wait until our next one!
My sweet friend Abby and I went to the War Eagle craft fair while our kiddos were in Mother's Day Out last week.
This girl loves Great American Cookies just like her mommy =)
Loving her first Uncrustable ha!

Sweet girl all ready for church in her pumpkin dress from Aunt Ashley
And of course, a picture with her shades

"5 on Friday"

one
One of my friends sent me a devotional email that she had received. It was so insightful. It talked about how we, as moms, need to be an encouragement to each other rather than being judgmental. We all know that being a mom isn't always easy or glamorous. One of the things that the email said that really spoke to me was "There is a gap between my desires and my realities." I just loved that because it is so true. After reading that, I just felt like that needs to become a daily prayer in my life. I've already written it down: "May the desires of my heart be the realities in my life everyday".

two

Caroline and I both started Bible Study Fellowship, and we are both loving it. I love the format of it, and the homework has been wonderful!

three

The horrible yeast/diaper rash is back too. I just hate it for her because I know it has to hurt and be extremely uncomfortable, but we are oh so thankful for medicine.

four

Well I'm thinking that the 2's have hit our house. They aren't terrible, but there are definitely times throughout the day that have me saying I hope they pass quickly. She will just throw a random tantrum for no reason that results in crying just because she can. It is definitely one of those times that I just have to pray myself through it =)

five

Even though we are going through bouts of the two's, I love this little girl more than anything. She brightens my day, and there is nothing I would rather do than spend my days at home with her. She can be sassy, sweet, and bossy all at the same time.

She decided to help me mop the floors after dance. I didn't even have to ask her - Ha!
To say she is obsessed with her sunglasses is an understatement. She wears them all the time. Inside and outside.
When did she get so big?!

Weekend at Newk's

Last weekend, I went to Newcombe Tennis Ranch with some of my tennis friends. It was intense but still so fun! It was down in south Texas which meant a 10 hour drive, but I think we all decided that going on a 10 hour road trip with girls is so much fun! We definitely didn't lack in conversation. =) We had a four drills throughout the weekend which meant 7.5 hours of tennis on Saturday. We all learned so much and definitely can't wait to go back again!

We stayed on the ranch so we literally just walked right out the backdoor to the courts
Christy, Katie, myself, and Lisa all rode together and roomed together
The whole group after our last drill

On Friday, they divided all the campers up into Team USA and Team Australia. Then on Satuday, we watched the pros play. Our group was on Team USA, and here we are with the pros that played for our team. It was pretty amazing watching them.
Saturday night they had a karaoke/dance party. We had so much fun!
Katie and I acting like we knew what we were doing at the bonfire on the first night. Ha!
