The Coming Home Outfit!

Soon after I found out I was pregnant, my grandfather's wife, Lynn, called and asked me if she could make Caroline's coming home outfit. I was thrilled and of course said YES! She didn't tell me what she was making but I had an idea that it would include smocking. Lynn used to design children's clothes that were absolutely stunning so I couldn't wait to see what she was going to make! Lynn gave us the outfit at our shower, and I was absolutely blown away! It is beautiful! Here are a few pictures of the gown and bonnet! I can't wait to bring our little girl home in it!

It's Almost Time!!

Well only a few more weeks until Caroline makes her arrival, and I can't wait!! We have been busy the last few weeks finalizing everything before she comes! We had our hometown shower in Arkansas! The shower was absolutely beautiful, and we received a TON of wonderful gifts! Caroline is one blessed little girl, and she isn't even here yet!! We pretty much have everything we need now plus more!! Here are a few pictures of the decorations from the shower!

These lamps and jewelry box were the final things left to complete the nursery. They were also painted by Angela at Cross My Art. And they were my lamps and box from my bedroom growing up. =)
