Will's Baby Showers

We had two baby showers for Will in one week. On Tuesday night, we celebrated with some family and close friends in Fort Smith. This was such a fun shower! My aunt had the cutest cake made, and not to mention it tasted as good as it was cute!

On Thursday night, we had a "sprinkle" shower with the girls in our small group. It was at Euna Mae's, and it was so much fun! Amy supplied all the food and drinks, and she made cheese grits and biscuits that were to.die.for! Seriously, they were amazing!!

Spring Dance Recital

Caroline wrapped up her second year of dance. We had her spring recital last night, and she did so good! I love thinking back on how much her little personality has blossomed since the first recital.

Church Choir Concert

Last night, Caroline had her first church choir concert. She started back in September, and thankfully Mrs. Hilary teaches because otherwise I don't know if she would think it was as much fun. Ha! She was definitely a little shy on stage actually she looked scared to death, but she did good for it being her first one! She loves music, singing, and dancing, so I know we will have many more of these in our future!

Quick Getaway

Stephen and I had a very unexpected, but awesome night away! Around 11am on Tuesday, my brother and sister-in-law called and someone had given our company tickets to the Oklahoma City Thunder game again the San Antonio Spurs that evening. Because it involved the Spurs, I was pretty sure I wasn't going to be missing this! We rushed around and took Caroline to some friends, so they could keep her until Ashley and John and my parents all got back into town. Stephen and I quickly hit the road to make the 4 hour drive to Oklahoma City. We made it just in enough time to check into our hotel and walk to dinner at Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner before going to the game! I have always liked the Spurs. {I really just like Tim Duncan and Tony Parker, Ha!} The game was so much fun and even better that the Spurs won! After the game, we walked back to the hotel, and I was pretty sure I have forgotten to pack my ankles because they were no where to be found from all the walking. Gotta love the end of pregnancy! HA! We had such a great time, and it was really nice to get away! Caroline had so much fun with her friends and Henry; however, when we got back the poor girl had a fever and then was diagnosed with strep throat. But after having antibiotics for 24 hours, she is back to herself! Now we can enjoy the beautiful weekend!

Easter Festivities

We had a fun-filled weekend of celebrating Easter! We spent lots of time with our families making memories! Here are some pictures...

Dying Easter eggs with Henry at Mimi and Papa's house

Stuffing eggs with candy for her Easter parties at school - I looked over and she was taste testing the candy as she put it in the eggs. Ha!

All ready for her party at school

These two are a mess! They insisted on trying on their swimsuits out of their Easter baskets from Mimi and Papa.

Oma and Opa came to our house to eat lunch on Easter day, so we decided to have some fun with our dessert this year and make a bunny cake. This might have to become a yearly Easter tradition.

Her Easter basket from Mommy and Daddy

The Easter bunny brought Mary and Mason each a new outfit. She loves these dolls so much, and I think I have equally as much fun buying her things for her dolls. =))

As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. "Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.' "
