We celebrated Stephen's Birthday this evening. His parents came up along with his second cousin, Coca, who is in the states visiting from Germany! We had a wonderful German meal cooked by his mom and then finished off the meal with a delicious cake from Shelby Lynn's. I don't have any pictures of people just pictures of Rebel, go figure. My mom had his cake decorated with a dog and ducks, and then Caroline and I gave him a sketch of Rebel. I also included the pictures that the dog trainers sent us to use for the sketch. I love how it turned out, and I think Stephen was surprised!

Spring Break 2015
We had such a fun spring break! Occasionally, I love a week when we don't have our normal "schedule". Caroline started off the first two days of spring break at a camp at The Little Gym. She went there over Christmas and loved it, and this time Henry and Lucy Jane went with her.
On Wednesday, I took her on her first trip to the nail salon. She chose pink polish with glitter on top. Afterwards when we were walking to the car, she said "we have had such a fun morning". Sweet girl!
This was a new outfit that she had to try on. Her tennis skirt as she calls it =)
On Wednesday evening, we headed down to Fort Smith to celebrate Anna's birthday. Here were all the cousins, minus Jack and Henry. These are as close as we could get to everyone looking at the camera!
On Thursday, we loaded up and took a mini-trip to Tulsa with Mimi. We had so much fun shopping, staying at a hotel, and eating at our favorite restaurants! Caroline LOVED having a sleepover at the hotel. We took her swimming before bedtime and then she crashed while watching Mickey.
On Friday, we got up and had breakfast then took Caroline to the Children's Museum. She met a little girl named Nora and they had a blast together! They probably did this slide 100 times together!
For Christmas, Stephen's parents gave us season passes to Silver Dollar City, so we decided to make a day trip up there! Caroline loves it, and she still definitely prefers the rides that go fast! I believe she would ride the more- adult rides if she was allowed. Ha!

Spring School Music Program
Caroline had her spring music program at school yesterday. I could tell she was a little nervous at first, but by the last song she was singing and doing the motions.

Enjoying the Weather
We are finally getting to enjoy some springtime weather around here. Caroline is loving being able to play outside with the neighbor kids, ride her bike and scooter, and we even enjoyed a little picnic outside one evening. The neighbors a few doors down have a cat that likes to come over when we are outside, and Caroline loves that thing!

Drawing
Caroline is really into drawing smiley faces these days. Sometimes she calls them smily faces and then sometimes she calls them snowmen. Either way, I just love her little imagination! Her teacher sent this top picture home from school one day, and it made my mommy heart melt! She is going to be the best big sister and the best little helper. Ha!
Pinterest Success: Chicken and Veggies
This was seriously the easiest meal ever! And it was really delicious for being so simple!
Ingredients:
1 package of chicken breasts
I used 1 can of green beans, some broccoli, about 3 or 4 carrots, and a couple red potatoes
Directions:
Sprinkle one package of italian dressing season on the top. I salt and peppered alittle bit, and then melt one stick of butter and pour over the chicken and veggies. Cover with foil and bake at 350degrees for about 1 hour!
This was the perfect meal for summer time. You can prepare it ahead of time and then cook it while you are playing outside =).

First Ribbon
Rebel was in his first junior hunt test, and he successfully passed and won his first ribbon. Stephen was able to go and watch him, so it was a pretty exciting weekend. It also happened to fall on my birthday. Ha! He has to pass two more tests and then he will qualify for his Junior Hunter Title.
