Well, the guys had a successful duck hunt over Thanksgiving. Stephen shot a banded duck, so now he has some "duck jewelry". And I'm so thankful he didn't feel the need to bring that duck home to be an accessory in our house =))

Thanksgiving 2013
This Thanksgiving broke all of our normal Thanksgiving day activities. We went out to eat for the first time in my 25 years of existence, and I must say it was very nice. We didn't have to worry about grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, or anything. The only negative to eating out is you don't have left-overs. My mom, Caroline, and I headed to Fort Smith on Thursday morning. We went to lunch with my grandmas, aunt, and Stephen's parents and brother. Then we made the rounds to all the rest of the family there. We headed back home late afternoon just in time to enjoy a nice brinner {breakfast/dinner} at Ihop. I still can't believe we ate dinner there on Thanksgiving night. Ha! I definitely don't think this year started any new traditions, and I'm pretty sure we will resume our normal traditions next year.
Now for the overload of pictures...
The holidays have officially started, y'all!!!

Secretary
Papa and Daddy were leaving to go hunting, so we thought we would go say "hi". They were in a meeting so little lady had to leave Papa a note. He might want to hire her =))

Battles
This was a battle we did not want to attempt... We went to Barnes and Noble after dinner, but Caroline didn't want to change out of her napping clothes. Therefore, she went in a shirt that says "Happy Fall Y'all" and pajama pants that scream Christmas. Thankfully, this isn't an everyday occurrence.

Dance Recital
We celebrated our anniversary tonight attending Caroline's first dance recital. She is taking dance once a week at our church, and she LOVES it. I was very nervous about tonight considering how the rehearsal went. I've seen her do the dance, and she knew it and could do it great. However, when it came time for dress rehearsal, she screamed through the entire dance on stage. So tonight, my friend Lindsey took care of getting her on stage so that she didn't have to see mommy and daddy. We are considering this a success because she went on stage without crying. She just stood there the entire performance {which was only 54 seconds- ha!}, but she was on stage and not crying. =)) The big recital is in May, so maybe we can get a few moves out of her for that one!

Getting My Craft On
I'm one of the least crafty people, but when Caroline didn't have an outfit to wear to the Razorback game, somewhere I got the idea to applique her a shirt. Then that idea turned it to other ideas. Thankfully, my friend Shannon is pretty knowledgeable when it comes to this type of thing. I'm sure I annoyed her with all my questions and pictures. Ha! I was going to make Caroline a "C" shirt first, but then somehow I ended up with an "M" bag. I love how it turned out, and it makes all my Bible study stuff look cute when we go to BSF. =))
Since it is fall now, I decided a turkey shirt would be appropriate. I hand-stitched the pattern after I ironed it on with Wonder Under. I'm pretty proud of my stitches on this one...
And the whole reason I decided to try and be crafty.... I love how her shirt turned out. The black letters are stitched with red thread. Then I stitched on the razorback and then hand stitched the sequins. I'm not sure she will be getting another sequin appliqued shirt any time soon. I'm just sayin'... Shannon made her super cute pants to match the shirt. Now it's time to start on a Christmas shirt to match those cute ruffle pants!

Family Razorback Game 2013
Yesterday was my family's annual Razorback game get together, and even though we lost, it is always still so fun! The poor Hogs aren't doing well at all, so I'm thankful that we had good company instead. I was so excited to go most of all because of Caroline's outfit. However, I didn't get any great pictures of it. I made her shirt, and then my friend Shannon made pants to match.

| Yep, that's right! We finally got a recent picture of just the two of us =)) |

Fun at Farmland Adventures
On Saturday morning, we celebrated Adeline and Landon's birthdays at Farmland Adventures. The kiddos love that place, and I really do to. I love being around the animals especially the horses. Caroline was really excited about riding the horses. I'm so thankful for all of our sweet friends and their kiddos. We are blessed.

I was cleaning out the playroom last night, and forgot that Caroline received these high heels in her Easter basket. To say, she loves them is an understatement. They are super super slick on the bottom, so she has to stay on the carpet. She tried to venture off the carpet, and her feet flew out from under her. {It was hilarious, and she thought it was so funny too}

Take My Picture, Mommy
When Caroline saw the big camera this morning, she said "Take my picture, Mommy". I love my days with this girl!
