HALLOWEEN FUN

I feel like our Halloween celebrations went on for days. It started out with the Fall party at school. Then we had  pumpkin carving and painting fun with friends on Friday night. Aunt Ashley was all about the carving! And then on Halloween, we went up to Daddy's office and went trick or treating then home to trick or treat around the neighborhood. Aside from it raining, we had a lot of fun!

FALL PARTY

This was a busy day for Caroline! We started the day out sliming the principal and vice principal. The students that raised the most money in the school fundraiser were asked to slime the principal and vice principal. Then I had lunch with my girl. McDonalds is her favorite. That afternoon, we had our first class party. I am one of her homeroom moms, so it was was fun getting to plan her party. The kids loved all the activities, but I think decorating the haunted house was their favorite. And Mrs. Thomason was a great sport in letting us wrap her in toilet paper like a mummy!

SHEET PAN FAJITAS

Here are the ingredients you’ll need for the fajitas:

1 lb. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts or Tenders sliced thinly

Homemade Fajita seasoning

2 Large Bell Peppers (I used Red and Yellow)

1 Large Onion Sliced Thinly

2 Tbsp. Olive Oil

Here are the ingredients for the homemade seasoning:

2 tsp. Chili Powder

1 tsp. Salt

1 tsp. Paprika

1/2 tsp. Onion Powder

1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder

1/4 tsp. Cayenne Pepper

1/2 tsp. Cumin

Here are the instructions for how to make these yummy fajitas:

On a Sheet Pan lay Chicken Strips, Bell Peppers, and Onion

Drizzle with Olive Oil

Sprinkle with Homemade Fajita Seasoning

Toss with Tongs or Spatula to get everything evenly coated

Bake at 350 Degrees for about 25-30 minutes (Stir halfway through)

Serve in Lettuce Wraps with Cheese and your favorite toppings!

The weather was nice so we decided to put the outdoor fire pit to good use. The kids loved making s'mores!

WILL GOES TO FARMLAND

While Stephen and Caroline were gone camping, I wanted to have some fun one-on-one time with Will. I decided to take him to Farmland Adventures, and he had a blast. He loved all of it so much that I'm not sure which was his favorite activity. He loved riding the ponies, he played in the corn for probably 30 minutes, he was a happy boy!

CAMPING TRIP

Caroline and Stephen went on a camping trip last weekend. She had the best time and can't wait to go again! 

FUN RUN

Caroline's school had their big fundraiser in October. They raised pledges for their big race! I'm so proud of our girl. She was one of the top 10 pledges at her school. She ran 35 laps and raised almost $700! Here are pictures from the actual run...

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

THE BOYS ARE HOME

Our dog trainers headed to Tulsa for a competition, so we decided to meet them there and bring Rebel and Waylon home. Rebel is home for hunting season, and Waylon is coming home for family pictures then he will be heading back to school. It will be fun to get a glimpse of life with four dogs and two kids. I'm sure there won't be any dull moments!
