PAWHUSKA

Our small group girls planned a girls weekend to Tulsa/Pawhuska. I love me some Pioneer Woman so a couple friends and myself just made a day trip to join the rest of the group in Pawhuska and dinner in Tulsa then we drove home! We started off at the Mercantile. We did some shopping and then ate an AMAZING lunch. I'm still thinking about those cowboy french fries. Ha! After we ate, we headed out to the lodge to see where she films the cooking shows. On the way there, we passed the "Drummond Ranch" sign. We stopped for a selfie. The whole time we were driving to the lodge, I couldn't get over the amount of land this family owns. We googled it and it says they own pretty much equal to the state of Connecticut. Crazy! We finally made it to the lodge and it was so cool to see where they film. There was a sweet man there they gave us some inside scoop on the filming. You are free to roam anywhere you want to in the lodge. We checked out all the bedrooms and maybe even some of the dresser drawers. HAHA! The prep kitchen was pretty amazing! I loved the dry erase board with the recipes they need to try. Such a fun day with friends!
