Beware, this is addicting! I saw this on another blog, and lemme tell you, it is delicious. It is just the right amount of sweet and salty. It only has three things: candy corn, m&m's, and peanuts. One suggestion is to put it in a bowl with a lid so you won't see it and eat the whole thing in one setting. =) Make it, enjoy it, and happy Fall, y'all!

An Evening at the Park
Yesterday evening after dinner, we took a walk to the little park in our neighborhood. The weather was so nice, and you would have thought our dogs had never been out of the house. Well, they hadn't been on a walk in a long time because it has been so hot. So needless to say, they were pretty excited to go with us. We pass this play area almost everyday, and I couldn't wait for the day that we could actually take Caroline to play on it. I think she really enjoyed it, of course we had to help her do most everything. She loved feeling the breeze when she was swinging, and she wasn't too sure about the gravel and grass. She would take a few steps then have to put her hands down to balance, and the rocks would get on her hands and she did not like it at all! She was hesitant about the slides at first, but by the end she was loving them! There were other kids there playing who were a little older, and she really liked watching them. Here are some pictures of our evening...

The Past Few Weeks
We just got home today after being in Arkansas for the past ten days. It feels so good to be home! We have been pretty busy while there. Stephen and I went to Little Rock for a couple days. It was so nice to get away. We stayed with his college roommate Friday night which we didn't get there until about 10:30pm, and then Saturday we just hung out and did some shopping. We went to one of my favorite stores, The Container Store. I just love walking every aisle of that place and dreaming! Hah. We also found a cute little kids store, The Toggery. We didn't buy any clothes, but we did get Caroline a couple cute books. Then Saturday night, we went to a tailgate party for Stephen's roommate and his fiance. It was nice just hanging out and getting to meet some of their friends. At the party, the hostesses made a Pinterest recipe that was fabulous. It was called Jalapeno Popper Dip. I had to pin it as soon as we left because I will be making it soon.

Yesterday, Henry turned ONE!! This past year has gone by way too fast with these two cuties! They aren't really babies anymore. Tear Tear. We celebrated his birthday out at his Grandpa's hunting lodge! We had a lot of fun, great food, and fabulous homemade desserts! Even Henry's smash cash was homemade. It was super cute!

Rather than gifts, John and Ashley asked that everyone bring items to donate to the local children's shelter. This is such a great idea and a great way to help those in need. However, before I got the invitation I had already ordered Henry's gifts, so we did both =). I only got a picture of one of his gifts.

Fun at the Mall
Today, my mom and I took Caroline and Henry to the mall for a little bit and eat lunch. They had a lot of fun walking around. We also rode the little car carousel. Henry was all over the place, and Caroline was concentrating on "driving" her car. =) We were only going to ride it twice until somebody threw a fit when it was time to get off!! So then, we had to bribe them with Dippin' Dots. They loved them!!

Linkin' Up with "The ABC Meme"
I read Living Proof Ministries blog which is the ministry founded by Beth Moore. They have a few different people that blog, and I just love reading it. Well, the other day Lindsee blogged "The ABC Meme", so I thought it would be fun to do it here. So here we go...
A. Age: 24
B. Bed size: King! Got to have room for me, the hubby, and one dog =)
C. Chore that you hate: That would be a close tie between ironing which is probably because I'm not very good at it, and mopping!
D. Dogs: Max. He is a cock-a-poo; he was my "first baby". I got him back in 2006 when I was in college. He weighed 3lbs when I got him. Yes, he was only supposed to be around 15lbs full grown, but he now weighs 28lbs!! Dixie. She is our border collie. I like to say that she rescued us. =) One night, I was planting flowers in 2010 and she came up to our yard. She is the sweetest dog and has a great temperament. She was most likely abused because she is deathly afraid of men.
E. Essential start to your day: Waking up! I always get up about an hour before Caroline wakes up, so that I have time to get ready and do things around the house. It also gives me some "me" time.
F. Favorite color: Pink! I'm trying to make it Caroline's favorite too! Really, I like any bright colors, and I love to decorate with red!
G. Gold or Silver: Is white gold an option? I do like yellow gold, but most of my jewelry is white gold. However, I love pearls, and I like yellow gold with pearls.
H. Height: 5'6
I. Instruments you play: Piano. I took lessons when I was younger. When I graduated college, I sold my piano with my house. I do miss it, but my dream is one day to have a beautiful Yamaha Baby Grand Piano.
J. Job title: Stay at home mom. I saw it on Facebook as "Domestic Engineer". I kind of like that better maybe because my husband is an engineer. Hah
K. Kids: Just one for now. Caroline Louise. Light of my life!
L. Live: On our way back to the Natural State!!
M. Mother’s name: Patricia Anne. Referred to as Patti. She's pretty much the best mom in the world and my best friend!
N. Nicknames: MollieR. This use to be on my license plate in high school and college.
O. Overnight hospital stays: Just once. When I had Caroline, we were there Tuesday through Friday.
P. Pet peeves: The only thing that comes to mind is when Stephen doesn't shut the drawers and cabinets. Drives me crazy!
Q. Quote from a movie: Ahh The Notebook..
"I am nothing special; just a common man with common thoughts, and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect I have succeeded as gloriously as anyone who's ever lived: I've loved another with all my heart and soul; and to me, this has always been enough"
"So it's not gonna be easy. It's going to be really hard; we're gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me... everyday"
R. Right or left handed: Right
S. Siblings: Just one brother. He's four years older.
T. Time it takes you to get ready: Depends. Hair and all takes about 45min-1hour
U. Ultimate Vacation: I would love to travel to France one day
V. Vegetable you hate: Hmmm... Mushrooms. Hate the texture of them!
W. What makes you run late: Always try to be early and I'm pretty successful at it. There is a few occasions though. It's just a little harder to be on time with a kid.
X. X-Rays you've had: My poor knees. They are bad. And then, of course, my teeth.
Y. Yummy food that you make: Definitely Red Velvet Cake. Maybe one day I'll share the recipe =)
Z. Zoo animal: Tigers are beautiful and Penguins are cute.

She's Walking!!
Well, we have FINALLY hit the milestone of walking!! Honestly, I thought she would have done this a couple months ago. She was so close, and then she kind of regressed. Since, we have been at home the past couple weeks, we have been really trying to work with her on taking off by herself. She got where she would do it on the carpet but was hesitant on the wood floors. Then last night, she just took off! She loves to walk and jabber at the same time! It's pretty stinkin' cute!

Mother's Day Out
Caroline started Mother's Day Out today. She is going to the same place she started in the spring, and I love it as much as I did then. She has the same teacher this semester which is wonderful because they adore each other! We are so thankful for Ms. Malinda, and it is even more convenient that she lives two streets over and will babysit when I need her. We are going to miss her SO MUCH when we move! Here are some pictures from this morning...

Happy Labor Day!
A few things I'm loving and some random thoughts...
2. They showed our house yesterday. We haven't heard anything yet, but hopefully soon we will get some feedback.
3. Mother's Day Out starts back up this week! I'm so excited about Caroline's class this year! When she started in January, she was by far the youngest in her class, and this year there are three other little girls and one little boy right around her age!
4. Stephen and I are headed for a night away next weekend. We are going to a party for some friends that are getting married in October! I can't wait to get away just the two of us =)
5. Razorback Football has started!! WOO PIG SOOIE!!!
6. Diaper Rash - NO FUN! First, Caroline had a yeast rash so we got medicine for it. It went away, came back, and is gone again! Then, on Friday she drank some apple juice and it gave her diaper rash IMMEDIATELY! It was crazy how fast it came! Thanks to Desitin, Boudreaux's, and Triple Paste Ointment it is pretty well gone now.
7. I received a letter in the mail last week to participate in a book exchange for Caroline. I sent our book and mailed out our letters, so now I can't wait to see all the books she is going to get! If everyone participates, she should get 36 books in the mail! If you would like to start an exchange between your friends, email me and I'll send ya the letter!
8. I can't wait for the Swanky Sooie Etsy site to open again so I can finally order my WPS shirt! Everytime I go to order, she has closed it to catch up, and I'm determined to catch it when it opens back up =)
9. The other day I tackled a Pinterest inspired project on our bed skirt. On Pinterest, it was to upholster box springs. But instead I just tucked our bed skirt around the box spring and into the bed frame. It isn't as tight as upholstering the box spring but I definitely like it better than just hanging down.
10. I CANNOT wait for Halloween {or Fall Festivals}. We didn't do anything last year because Caroline was so little, but this year we are going! I have her outfit ordered and her personalized trick or treat bag all ready!
11. Little Lady managed to have a bloody nose and busted lip all in one day this weekend!
12. Her new favorite thing just might be jumping on the couch and saying "UH-OH" {which more comes out like "UH-uh"!!

Catching up {again}!
Geez, I'm not very good at updating this thing on a regular basis! Our lives have turned kind of crazy lately! Earlier in the summer, Stephen accepted a new job with my family's company. My brother and Stephen worked together when my grandfather first started the company, and I think they both had dreams of eventually coming back together when the timing was right. This was such a blessing, but it was, at the same time, hard because he really enjoyed his job and all the people he worked with were great! One of the main pluses with the new job is that we get to move back HOME!!! WOOHOO!!! We both love Tulsa and are very thankful for the few years we have had here, but we are so looking forward to moving back to Arkansas to be closer to both of our families. So anyway, Stephen started his new job at the beginning of August, and things are going great! We are living a life of transition until our house sells. This is the only downside; traveling back and forth with a toddler and two dogs can be tiring!! We are just praying that the perfect people will come along and purchase our house for the perfect price =).
Caroline had her one year shots on August 14th. I had postponed them from her actual one year appointment because she had been so sick throwing up the weekend before. I had also heard that these shots were some of the worst, so I decided to give her Tylenol before hand and she did great! It also helped that I had an Oatmeal Cream Pie with me to give her afterwards =) She didn't have any side effects from the shots until the following Sunday and she then started running a high fever. After two days, it finally broke! We had also started giving her Zyrtec again for her nasal congestion, but we are no longer doing that anymore because she was one UNHAPPY girl! I think we have decided that it is time to talk to the doctor about the congestion because it is constantly coming and going. Between Stephen and myself, she doesn't stand a chance of not having allergies. Poor girl!

On August 16th, we headed to Arkansas to be at the hospital with my cousin who was being induced. Well on our way, we had a flat tire about 30 minutes after we left! Luckily, it wasn't a blow out, but we did have to get a new tire. We got a little behind schedule, but we made it right before he was born! Coleman David was born right before noon and weighed 7lbs9oz. He was so little, and I had definitely forgotten how small newborns are!! Here are a couple of his newborn pictures by Virgila Dale! They turned out beautiful! She is taking our Christmas pictures, and I can't wait!

Caroline spent that weekend with Stephen's parents because our good friends Josh and Mandi were getting married that weekend! We had so much fun at their wedding, and Mandi as a stunning bride! After the wedding weekend, we spent the next week in Arkansas too. We came back home on the 27th, and it has been so nice being home! I can't wait until we are living in one place, and we can really enjoy it!!!
