Baton Rouge Part 2

On Friday, we headed out to do some driving. We first drove by Stephen's Mama and Papa's house. It's funny because their street name is the same as ours. =)

Then we headed down to see the Louisiana state Capital.

After the Capital we headed to lunch at City Pork. It was soo good, and such a fun little restaurant!

Saturday afternoon after naps at the hotel, we headed over to Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Fred's house for family pictures and dinner. One of the cousins was wearing this hat at dinner Friday night. HAHA!

Easter morning, we headed to grab breakfast at Another Broken Egg. They make quite the chocolate milk! 

Then we headed to meet everyone for Easter lunch

It was such a fun trip, and we definitely can't wait to see everyone again! 

Baton Rouge Part 1

This past weekend we had a Lieux family reunion in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It was such a fun weekend meeting new cousins and catching up with others. We left on Thursday afternoon. Most of the family was arriving Thursday and others on Friday. We had a low key dinner Thursday night with Stephen's two brothers, Jennifer, Andrew John, and Ella. We had so much fun! After trying to get into three restaurants, we finally ended up at Chimes down by LSU. It was wonderful, and lets just say Will was a champ at sitting in a high chair all weekend! 

On Friday, we headed down to LSU to walk around the campus and most importantly visit Mike the tiger. He is beautiful!

We of course had to visit the LSU store, and Caroline had fun with the tiger ears and tail.

We then headed over to see the new basketball practice arena where there is a new Shaw statue.

Mike finally decided to get up and walk around. So pretty! 

And Will decided to wake up from his nap in the car and join the party

After LSU, we headed to grab lunch at Parrains. Another good meal. We headed back to the hotel and Will took a good nap because his first night in the hotel was everything but pleasant. Ha! Then Friday night was our first "reunion" meal. Everybody was in town by dinner, and of course I didn't take any pictures except for of this cute little guy before we headed to meet everyone.

Fun Weekend

Mandi, Lindsay, and I had such a fun weekend in Tulsa. It was some much needed girl time! I don't think we have all hung out for an extended period since we went to Mexico two years ago. It was way past due; we have all been a little preoccupied with babies now. It was such a fun weekend full of laughing and good "girl" conversations! I love my friends! 

I even managed to run into a childhood friend, Reid Shipley and his wife. I don't think I have even seen Reid since his wedding almost 5 years ago! 

While I was away on a girls weekend, Stephen and Rebel were having a fun guys weekend full of hunting and retrieving.
