We borrowed our friends bike trailer to see how Caroline liked it, and I can't believe she loves it!! 

I don't think I ever posted about this, but Caroline is now potty trained. We have told her that she gets ice cream when she goes #2. Her new favorite toppings are sprinkles with marshmallows which are two that Braum's doesn't have, so I carried them with us. Ha! 

My friend Abby babysat Caroline for me one morning. She sent me this picture, and it literally melted my heart!!

Memorial Weekend

We officially kicked off summer with a weekend at the lake. We had so much fun just spending time with family and taking a few boat rides. Caroline was not sure about going on the boat, but she got over it and loved it by the end of the weekend. On to the pictures...

Spring Flowers

One of my favorite things about spring is getting to freshen up the flower beds and plant summer flowers! I love doing yard work, and I would much rather do it other house work any day!! Last year, I didn't really do anything to the flower beds since we had just moved into our house. So this year, I decided to freshen them up and add a few things. I added a peony bush, two hydrangea, and a snowball viburnum. The peony and viburnum don't have any blooms this year, so I'm definitely looking forward to next year. And of course, I also lined the flower beds with summer flowers. Now, we just need some warm weather so they will start growing! 

This pretty bouquet came from a local farmers market. It looked good for about a day, then it was a complete mess! HA!

Donuts

One of Stephen's favorite things is when we all go get donuts on Saturday mornings. I believe he thinks it makes his weekends that much better. Little Miss definitely doesn't mind donuts either. Haha! We normally just go to the donut shop right by our house, but yesterday we decided to try Dunkin Donuts. They were great!!! Caroline had a pink donut with sprinkles so she was as happy as can be! 

     

Mother's Day

We had a pretty laid back Mother's Day. We started the day out at church then a pizza buffet for lunch. Ha! And finished off the day with some friends at the lake for our first boat ride of the year. It has been such beautiful weather that we decided to take advantage of it. I'm so thankful that the Lord blessed me with such a sweet girl. I love being her mommy!! 

Spring Dance Recital

Last night, Caroline had her spring dance recital. We have prepared for this thing all.week.long! I was worn out by the time the night was over, but it was all worth it! She did so good! We couldn't be more proud! Especially when I think about the progress she has made since the fall recital where she didn't move a muscle! Ha! She definitely surprised me by actually doing the motions, and it was seriously the cutest thing ever!

Visiting Rebel

Yesterday, we drove about 2 hours to visit Rebel. Our trainer was at a hunting event outside of Tulsa, so we decided to go visit. It was Caroline and I's first time to meet Rebel, and we instantly fell in love. He is such a sweetie and definitely a puppy. I thought he was actually pretty calm for being a lab puppy.
