We had a wonderful day at church on Sunday not only because it was Mother's Day but we also dedicated Will. It was a very special ceremony. They introduced us, we did a responsive reading, and our pastor prayed over our family with our prayer for Will's life. We are so thankful the Lord has entrusted our children to us to raise. We pray that they will grow to love the Lord with everything that they have and everything they do will glorify Him and His Kingdom.
We praise you God, as the Creator of life. We thank You for Your gracious gift of this child, and we acknowledge that You have entrusted us with the responsibility and privilege of shepherding them according to Your Word and Your will. We commit to raise them on the authority of the Word of God.
It is our prayer that You will be glorified and honored in our efforts to love, teach, and model Christ to these children and families.
We dedicate and commit our heart, soul, mind, and strength to the task of allowing You to guide and direct our children through us.
May their life reflect the God who created them, the Savior who can redeem them, and the family who will guide them. We pray that each of these children and families will know Jesus Christ personally and commit to live for Him daily.
Lord, we commit ourselves to leading our child through a personal relationship with You. Furthermore, we are committed to raise our child in Your church. May they always act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You.
We commit to partner with these parents, to serve and equip them, and assist them to nourish their children in the ways of the Lord.
From Your hands these children have come to us. We pray these children throughout their lives will grow to love You, Your Word, and Your church more every day. It is in the precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
