BRECKENRIDGE 2018 - PART 1
We decided to take spring break a couple weeks early. Caroline and Henry were looking so forward to this trip. They were ecstatic when I picked them up for school early. The energy might have been at an all time high. However, in flight we found out that Papa Ben (Ashley's grandpa) had passed away unexpectedly. It definitely put a damper on the trip because they flew on to Oregon to be with her family.
Little brother got to stay home with Mimi and Papa. I don't think he minded one bit, and I know his sister didn't mind being the only child for a few days. She was soaking up all the attention!
Miss Delphine (the kiddos wonderful teacher from last year) wasn't able to ski the first few days, so she put us in contact with her friend, Julie. Julie was just as amazing, and Caroline loved her. They had a great time skiing. The first day was somewhat rough just trying to remember from a year ago what she had learned. She was completely worn out that night!
We weren't going to get away without letting her swim. It was the first thing she asked to do everyday after skiing. Ha!
Too tired to walk!
We even tried to wake her up with a cherry Dr. Pepper, and she wasn't interested. Tired eyes! We ate at Hearthstone the second night, and it was amazing! It will definitely be a must every year!!

WILL'S ART SHOW
While we were out of town, Will had an art show at his school. They had all the kids artwork displayed. Mimi took Will to the show, and this is the picture she sent me. I'd say he is proud of his work. =)

STARLIGHT GALA 2018
Saturday night, we attended the Starlight Gala benefitting the NWA Children's Shelter. We had a blast! I don't remember the last time, if ever, that we got all dressed up to go "out". We went with four other couples and had so much fun!

LEARNING TO SMILE
Will has accomplished "smiling". Caroline and I were telling him to show us his teeth, so we are going to say he has learned to smile. Ha!
