WHAT'S UP WEDNESDAY

Today I am linking with with Shay, Sheaffer, and Mel for What's Up Wednesday!

Here we go...

WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK...
We ate this crock pot mexican chicken a couple weeks ago. It was very tasty and the kids loved it!

I also cooked a Roast this week. It was so simple-- Just put the roast in the crockpot and covered it with French Onion Soup and let it cook all day.

WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT...
Our trip to Breckenridge

WHAT I'M LOVING...
I'm loving these spring weather evenings of playing outside, riding bikes, and this...
Will's favorite thing to do is play in "Daddy's uck" so we spend a lot of evenings just hanging out in the truck. Ha!

WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO...
Trying to get back in a routine this week, and I am just not quite ready.

WHAT I'M DREADING...
Moving!!

WHAT I'M WORKING ON...
Packing up the old house and decorating the new house!!

WHAT I'M EXCITED ABOUT...
Getting into the new house and getting settled!
I am also excited to meet new friends in our new neighborhood that Caroline will potentially be going to school with next year!

WHAT I'M WATCHING/READING...
Fixer Upper! This has recently become Stephen and I's go to show lately. I just love Chip and JoJo!
Definitely want to try and plan a trip to Waco this summer!

Caroline and I also went to see Beauty and the Beast. It was soooo good! She got a little scared in the first wolf scene, but after that she was loving it too!

WHAT I'M DOING THIS WEEKEND...
Celebrating Stephen's birthday!

Here is a little throwback picture to his birthday three years ago.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH...
Moving... ha!

WHAT ELSE IS NEW...
My sweet friend, Molly, was diagnosed with cancer in December and started her chemo in January. Well she went to MD Anderson for her scans, and they came back clear! PRAISE THE LORD!! She had her fifth chemo last Friday. She will have three more and then she is done as long as her scans are still clean after her last chemo!

My own question... WHAT IS FUNNY?
THIS!

Stephen has had this wig since college that we refer to as his "Joe Dirt" wig. Well you know when you are packing, you find these sorts of things. While we were in the truck last night, he slipped it on when Caroline wasn't looking, and she thought it was hilarious. Well then he put it on her, and I lost it! I was in tears from laughing.

HAPPY WEDNESDAY, FRIENDS!!

RAZORBACK FANTASY FOOTBALL DAY

On Saturday, Stephen took the kids to the Razorback Fantasy Football Day. They had a blast running through all the obstacles. Will was good and ready for his nap afterwards. =)

SPRING BREAK

This is a picture overloaded post... I put all of our spring break activities in this one post... Here we go...

We started out spring break last Friday night with family. We celebrated all our the March birthdays with a trip to the bowling alley and arcade. The kids always have so much fun when we all get together! It was a night full of fun! We started out with bowling and eating the largest pizzas I have ever seen! They were huge! Then we had cake and headed over to the bumper cars, roller coasters, and maze.

At the last minute on Saturday, we decided to see if Oma and Opa would watch Will for a couple nights, and we headed up to Kansas to visit Waylon and Rebel. We hadn't seen Waylon since we took him to training in January. Um do you even recognize him?! He is huge now! It was so much fun seeing them and seeing how much he has changed!

Caroline loved being the only child for a couple days. We got back from Kansas Sunday evening in time for dinner at Shoguns, then a bike ride with our big girl.

So much fun doing bike rides now that she is riding without training wheels.

Daddy even showed us a few tricks from his younger days. HAHA!

We picked Will up on Monday, and then Tuesday morning decided we would drive to the Tulsa Zoo for the day. We had a fun filled Spring Break, and it has been so nice not having schedules!

SPRING MUSIC PROGRAM

Yesterday, Caroline and Will had their spring music program at school. It was Caroline's fourth program, and Will's debut. He was less than impressed. Ha! He just sat up there, and I'm pretty sure he spotted us in the audience. Caroline did great. I love looking back at how much her personality has blossomed.

BRECKENRIDGE DAY 6 (MARCH 8)

This was our last day before flying home the next morning. This day just makes my mommy heart smile so big! I don't know how many times I told Caroline I wanted her to learn to ski so that she could ski with Daddy and the day finally came. I was so proud of her! Henry and Caroline did a half day lesson with Delphine, then the plan was for them to ski with John and Stephen that afternoon. And it happened! They rode the big chair lift and skied down the mountain! I just couldn't believe she actually did it! So much fun and such sweet memories I won't ever forget! Another milestone in this girl's book...snow skiing!!!
