OKLAHOMA CITY!

We made a last minute trip to Oklahoma City for Ashley's birthday. It was such a fun 36 hour getaway. I think I have decided I enjoy these multiple short getaways rather than a long week vacation away from the kids. =) We left after we dropped the kids off at school. We ate lunch in Tulsa on our way then drove a couple jobs once we arrived in OKC. Checked into the hotel, and then we went to tour the OKC Bombing Memorial. Wow- it was so powerful. It was an awesome museum and beautiful. We had a wonderful dinner at Mickey Mantle before going to the Thunder playoff game. It was the best game ever! Such a fun time!

Pretty sure this ranks up there as one of the biggest surprise of my life- right after our engagement! Ha!

I can't believe Ashley pulled this off, and I'm pretty sure she can't either. =)

All along I thought we were going to an interview dinner for the company. They had it all planned out with the calendar invite and everything! I still had no idea when we were walking down the stairs, and I was still in shock and a little confused even after they yelled SURPRISE! It was such a fun evening with some of my favorite people! Ashley knows how to throw a party for sure!!
