Dance

Caroline started dance on Monday at our church. I was a little nervous about it because when we went for fittings a few weeks ago she wouldn't put the shoes on without crying. She proved me wrong, thankfully. I had to bribe her to put the clothes on, but once she did was seemed happy about it. I think it helps too that Annabel is dancing with her in the same class! Now the countdown begins to her first recital in November - that is, if we make it until then. Mommy definitely wasn't a dancer, but hey maybe Caroline will be!

Lake Weekend

Last weekend, our friends Matt and Lauren came up for a weekend on the lake, and we had a blast! They got in town on Friday, and we enjoyed a delicious meal at Mont Ne Chicken Inn then went for an evening boat ride. On Saturday, we got up and spent the entire day on the water, and it was wonderful!!! We packed a sandwiches and just played all day. This was the second year for them to come, so hopefully we can get this up each summer. I wasn't very good with taking pictures but I did manage to get a few =)

This was like the worst and best idea... A while back I froze these cookie dough balls, and then we had a rainy day, and I remembered that I had these in the freezer. I might have eaten two or three that afternoon when no one was looking!!

Chicken Caesar Salad Sandwich

And yet, another recipe I found on Shay's blog... I made this a while back and Stephen really liked it, so we had it again last week. It is so easy to throw together!

Ingredients:

Bag of Caesar salad

Frozen fajita chicken meat {I used John Soules from Walmart}

Crusty bread from the bakery {I just find whatever our Walmart has that will work for a sandwich =)}

Directions: 

Cook/warm fajita meat on stove. Mix salad in bowl. And broil bread in oven to make crunchy. Layer salad and chicken on bread. Then Enjoy.

Easy, right?! 

Naturals Game

A few weeks ago, our friends invited us and some other friends to go to the Naturals game. I don't think I have been to a game since the opening game in like 2008. We had so much fun, and Caroline loved it! Maybe we can catch another game this year before the season ends =)
