Fourth of July

On Thursday, we headed down to Fort Smith to spend fourth of July with Stephen's family. We were so thankful to be able to spend some more time his brother and family. They left today to head back home which makes me so sad! This week has really made me wish they lived so much closer to us. Caroline loves being with Ella Grace and Andrew John! Here are some pictures from our day...

Blog Books

My blog books came in the mail yesterday!! I finally got around to printing years 2011 and 2012. I did separate books for each year and included our family picture from each year on the cover. I couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out! The quality is wonderful, and even all the iPhone pictures look great!! I am 100% satisfied with the work blog2print did!

Five on Friday

I saw this on another blog and thought it would be fun to do on this beautiful Friday...

**ONE**
On Tuesday, I had Caroline's two year pictures done. First off, I can't believe she will be TWO in three weeks! Where has the time gone?! We haven't had any professional pictures of her since her one year pictures, so it was a must! I will do a whole blog post on the pictures because I am in LOVE with them! Here is a sneak peak of them...

Wednesday night, we took Caroline to the local rodeo. I was so excited because horses, rodeos, and horse shoes were my life growing up. She was very excited to see the animals, and after she threw a good fit for her daddy, she decided to sit and watch a little bit of the rodeo. Not to mention, we did indulge in some of that typical "fair" food.

In between throwing fits and not wanting to sit in the stands - ha!

I've debated blogging about this, but I figured that I might as well. I began a diet on April 25th, and as of this week, I am down 16lbs. I'm actually having fun doing it and definitely excited about the results.

We have an unwelcome guest in our house currently, diaper rash.... It started late last week, but it is currently b.a.d. Her doctor thinks it is most likely from swim diapers. =( It hurts her so bad that it just breaks my heart. I'm trying everything I can to make it go away, and I'm just praying that it heals quickly. Tears during diaper changes just get the best of me.

On Wednesday, we went to the nursing home to hand out fourth of July goodies. It was just a small group of us, and the kids always enjoy it. It is almost impossible to get a picture of all the kiddos looking, and Caroline never wants to sit...

Looking forward to the rest of this holiday weekend!!

Fireworks at the Crosses

Sunday night, our church had their 6th annual Fireworks at the Crosses. We had such a great time with our small group! We met for dinner before it started at Firehouse, and then headed over to the church to claim our spot on the lawn. Caroline had so much fun being with all the other kids! We stayed until about 9pm, so we actually didn't even see the fireworks. =(((. I was so sad that we missed it because it is supposed to be quite the show. Along with the fireworks, they also do baptisms at the foot of the crosses, and this year they did 101 baptisms!!!!!!! So AWESOME!

Friday Night at the Lake

Friday evening, we went out to my parents house to grill hotdogs and eat watermelon. The water was perfect, so we decided to put Caroline in for the first time. She loved the water, the jet ski, and she was definitely loving the watermelon!
